چکیده

There are several disposal and governance difficulties due to rapid bio-waste growth. Therefore, recycling repurposing them for environmental purposes is garnering increasing attention. Hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) followed by phosphoric acid activation was used in this investigation synthesize a novel activated hydrochar (AHPP) from pomegranate peels. X-Ray Diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, Scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray Brunauer, Emmett Teller (BET) surface area analysis Barrett-Joyner-Halenda (BJH) pore size distribution, pH of zero charge were exploited define the characteristics AHPP, which then assess uptake Basic Red 46 (BR46) dye batch mode. Isothermal kinetic investigations accomplished = 6, 0.5 g.L−1 adsorbent, 400 rpm at 298 K upon 60 min. The Freundlich model accurately presented equilibrium curves an adsorption capacity 998.95 mg g−1, while PSO adequately corresponded experimental data. Furthermore, thermodynamic data disclosed that process spontaneous, endothermic, linked growing disorder adsorbent-adsorbate interface. Lastly, reuse using HCl ascertained AHPP might be recycled ten times, whereas probable mechanism proffered. Overall, it possible conclude generated peels as cost-effective waste could employed alternative sorbent dining substantial effluents retaining BR46.

Waste Tendu Leaves From Beedi Industry Utilized For Removal of Sulphur Dye From Textile Waste Water

An activated carbon as adsorbent is derived from waste tendu leaves (Diospyros melanoxylon) from local Beedi (Cigarette) industry for removal of sulphur dye from textile waste water. Tendue leaves were chemically treated with sulphuric acid and activated carbon prepared was analyzed by pH, moisture content, ash content, bulk density and BET surface area. The adsorption studies were performed as...

Removal of hazardous reactive blue19 dye from aqueous solutions by agricultural waste

Low-cost grapefruit peel (Agricultural Waste) was used for removal of reactive blue19 dye fromaqueous solutions. The process was studied as a function of contact time, initial dye concentration andpH. Adsorption process was attained to the equilibrium within 45 min for initial dye concentrations of 50,75, and 100 mg L-1. An acidic medium was the optimum condition for adsorption of dye at roomte...

Adsorption Properties of Low-Cost Biomaterial Derived from Prunus amygdalus L. for Dye Removal from Water

The capability of Prunus amygdalus L. (almond) shell for dye removal from aqueous solutions was investigated and methyl orange was used as a model compound. The effects of operational parameters including pH, ionic strength, adsorbent concentration and mesh size, dye concentration, contact time, and temperature on the removal of dye were evaluated. The adsorption kinetics conformed to the pseud...
